I haven't been updating much, have I? Oh call it a momentary lapse in creativity. pfff. Let's see now, where was I? Oh yes I was at the doctors for this nagging pain in my neck and in my knee. He sent me to get MRIs done on both. The results are in. A bakers cyst on my knee (whatever the heck that is) and a herniated disc in my neck. A pain in the.... I have no pain killers because Dr. T sucks eggs. And now I have to go see a specialist to talk about going under the knife. For my knee, hmmmm, maybe. We will see. For my neck? No freakin way, thats what I'm saying. I'm just too young for this kind of manure. And my luck, the doctor would sever something major and I would be a quadrapalegic for the rest of my life. So here I sit, knee throbbing, sharp stabbing pains to my fingertips and not near enough chocolate to sedate me. sigh.

At any rate, I went to Vilseck again, over the weekend with my bestest new bud, my neighbor. We had ooodles of fun with the grocery shopping. I mean how many people drive 6 hours and stay overnight in a hotel, just to go grocery shopping. Well, me for one. And I got lotsa American goodies. I got to eat Fajitas in a restaraunt. Oh yea baby. And I got to watch cable tv. Too bad it was cartoon network, but still. And me and my new friend? We bonded in a very cool non-gay way. I haven't had the oppertunity to have close friends in many, many, moons. So it was a good trip all around for me. I am so hoping to go on the Polish Pottery Tour in October. It's a big deal for the women here. I don't know why, but it is. And wouldn't I like to have a couple of serving bowls and platters all cute and hand painted by Polish people. Plus it's a "woman" thing. I need the practice, eh? I put my name on the waiting list, just in case.

Also, I put my name in for the Co-Chair position at the pre-school. I am pretty sure I'll get it. And I am on the PTF committee for the Halloween party at AIS. That's the kids school. At the rate things are going, I don't know if we'll make it to Venice in October since we are going to the Netherlands in Nov. but we'll see.

I have been feeling cruddy lately and need to get back into the swing of things again and start moving my butt around. Today I broke my darn blender. The bottom just kind of blew up. It's these foreign appliances. Darn it. Why can't I have a good sturdy blender? I may never know. But that's gonna cut out my slim-chance shakes till the weekend. Sucks to be me. OK, not really but I felt like saying it. Now I need to go take a nap. There are no kids here for once and baby, it's snooze time.
